The popular aguda market of surulere was on fire yesterday night at around 10pm till 12pm
we didn't know the exact  cause of  the fire as our reporters were told different stories and we did not know which to believe, but we could get a very good video ourselves.

In a new interview with Encomium mag, Wizkid said he doesn't care if people think he is arrogant, that he doesn't love everybody and so doesn't expect everybody to love him.

Asked if it bothers him that people think he's arrogant, Wizkid said;
"Bother me? Never! I am not bothered. Honestly I don't hear people saying it because anytime I go out, I show my fans great love. I do my thing. I don't have problem with that because I don't love everybody as well. So I don't expect everybody to love me too. That's life" Continue...

Patience Jonathan resigns as Permanent Sec. in Bayelsa

Nigerian first lady Patience Jonathan has resigned her appointment as Permanent Secretary in the Bayelsa state Civil service, a position conferred on her in July 2012 by the Governor of the state, Dickson Seriake. Seriake said he gave the appointment to her based on her good service to the state and nation.

Drake handles Tyga after he calls him fake

In a new interview with Vibe Magazine, rapper Tyga slammed his label Young Money and his other label mate, Drake. He doesn't like Drake and he made his feelings known. so Tyga said;
"I’m tryna’ go independent. I don’t really get along with Drake. I don’t really get along with Nicki. I don't like Drake as a person. He’s just fake to me. I like his music; you know what I’m saying? I think his music is good, but we’re all different people. We were forced together and it was kinda like we were forcing relationships together. It is what it is."
Well, Drake obviously didn't find his comments funny and handled Tyga last night.

But I been friends with Chris [Brown] for like six years. That’s my real genuine friend. We hang out all the time. He lives up the street from me, so we don’t just do music we hang. I think being signed to Young Money, everybody felt like they had to force a relationship ‘cause Wayne put us together. Immediately after the interview hit the net, Drake went on instagram and start 'liking' pictures of Tyga's baby mama, Blac Chyna.

EFCC recovers blind teacher's N550,000 from fraudsters

Relief came for a blind teacher, Mary Ihekanacho on Wednesday October 22, 2014 as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, presented her with a draft of N550, 000 which the anti- graft agency recovered from a gang of fraudsters that swindled her of N 830,000 in a job scam.
The syndicate conned the woman by promising to facilitate her son’s employment with one of the oil majors.

Mexican drug cartel tracks down journalist, kills her - then uses her own Twitter account to boast about it

A citizen journalist named Dr María del Rosario Fuentes Rubio from Reynosa, Mexico, who spoke out against organised crime in her city was tracked down and brutally killed by Mexican drug cartel who then hacked into her twitter account and used it to announce her death and then posted a photo of her bloody, lifeless body.
The cruel pic was accompanied by a series of tweets, which started by saying: 'Friends and family, my real name is María del Rosario Fuentes Rubio. I am a physician. Today my life has reached its end. Do not make the same mistake I did.' Continue...

I Charge N10m For A Collaboration, Not N1.5m- Wizkid

Wizkid has revealed to Netng that he does not charge N1.5m like Saeon suggested she paid him, but charges nothing less than N10m for a collaboration. He also says he never pays for collaboration because he is confident of himself.

As we go about our daily lives in the pursuit of happiness, we tend to overlook the less privileged in our society.  This is a self-funded documentary on the lives of  Lagos hawkers by rising film maker Marthins Harrison titled HULKS.

The project is aimed at raising funds for the individuals in this documentary and to also urge the public to be kind and generous whenever they come in contact with hawkers as everyone is fighting their own battle.

Music producer Samklef calls Wizkid out on twitter...

Looks like music producer Samklef wants to auction Wizkid's instrumental (for the songs he was involved in) to anyone interested...lol. Samklef said in an interview yesterday that even though he doesn't regret working with Wizkid's talent, he regrets working with his person.
